Packed up, and moved ourselves over to the transit station where we stayed for the next few hours waiting for the bus. There seems to be a lot of waiting in this travelling business because we have to check out of our accommodations at a certain time, but the transportation doesn't come till much later.
The bus eventually did arrive and we hovered over the packing of our bicycles. Then began the 15 hour trip from Brisbane to Sydney. The time passed fairly quickly at first with two movies, but then it got late, there were no more movies and everyone on the bus tried to sleep ... or almost everyone, except those who felt it necessary to chat and cough. Isn't that the way it goes.
