At Port Arthur we walked from the campsite by Stewart's Bay (the path led us right through the water on the beach - gorgeous beach - beautiful blue water, like something from a desert island), and then we arrived at the Port Arthur prison. The Port Arthur prison is a historic prison site that was used as a secondary form of punishment. After being transported from England to Australia, if a second crime was committed over here, they were sent to Port Arthur. It is a huge and remote place, and the tour was quite interesting.
