The next morning we found out that the two cyclists who had started the Central Western Tour did not finish. That's too bad and it meant that no one finished the ride. They packed in about 500 kms because of the headwinds, hills, and lack of hydration.

Meanwhile, after breakfast with the Rogers, we caught a train to Sutherland, south suburbs of Sydney and then rode from there to Bulli and camped just south of there, north of Wollongong. Quite a nice campsite. (60 kms) The descent down Bulli Pass was quite frightening for me - my packs are all on my front rack now and I was hitting some good speeds coming down!
