As we cycled out of Cooma, we found the campsite. Just missed it!! We stopped at a lookout and I saw my first live kangaroo. From the lookout we could see the snowcovered Snowy mountains which we were heading for.

Thredbo Village
We cycled from Cooma almost all the way to Thredbo Village. I did well at first, but as we got into the mountains more, I was finding the climbing tough, and I was walking more and more.

Just before Thredbo I was having a bit of a breakdown on a long climb but when I finally reached the top and went over I discovered Rob and a bunch of people stopped by the side of the road. There was a live wombat!!

We went on into the National Park and "bush camped" in a rather rustic campspot near the river. It was quite beautiful there next to the mountains, and I saw a mother kangaroo with her joey. That night got really cold. (95 kms)
