We're heading for Sale.
I'm in Bairnsdale now and must get going. Today's route has been pretty, warmer, and pretty easy - gently rolling hills.

I'll also mention that the Australian people have been very friendly, the scenery is beautiful, and much more varied than I had imagined, and the wildlife is intriguing.
I've been trying to get a photo of a kookaburra.

By the third day with the car I was getting on to driving something manual and all backward and amazed myself with my parking skills. Up till that point I just parked wherever the car stalled.

However I wasn't so adept at walking and while waiting for Rob to arrive in Bairnsdale I was walking down the street, looking back over my shoulder to see if he was coming when I slammed into a pole ... which resulted in a black left eye!! It was quite sore for a few days and has just now (Oct 21st) started to feel better.

From Bairnsdale I drove in to Sale where I handed off the car and loaded up the bicycle again and we went to a campground which was very cold and windy.
